Practising yoga one or more times per week may help to lower blood pressure, according to a large observational study in the US.
About one-third of adults globally have high blood pressure, which increases the risk of having a heart attack or stroke. Physical activity is known to lower blood pressure not only during heartbeats (systolic pressure) but also in between beats (diastolic pressure).
